There's only one word that can possibly sum up Royal Caribbeans's newest ship, Quantum of the Seas: WOW! Newly designed staterooms, game-changing technology, groundbreaking venues and the best dining ever are just the start of what you'll find onboard. Plus, they've enlisted celebrity experts in fields such as design, sports & fitness, entertainment and others to be part of their Quantum Experience Advisor program to help shape interior design, key amenities and activities.
Designed for longer itineraries, Quantum of the Seas expansive and bright indoor spaces allow you to experience every feature of the ship and comfortably enjoy your cruise from the moment you board.
Quantum of the Seas sails its maiden voyage in November 2014. It will sail out of Cape Liberty in Bayonne, N.J., until May 2015 when it heads to its new home port in Shanghai, China. Beginning in late June 2015, Quantum will operate three- to eight-night itineraries year-round from Shanghai to Japan and Korea.
The Quantum class of ships is a new leap forward in vessel design with groundbreaking innovations like RipCord by iFly, the first skydiving simulator at sea. And the North Star, a jewel-shaped, glass capsule will take you on a spectacular journey more than 300 feet in the air to deliver unprecedented 360-degree views. And, Royal Caribbean has introduced transformational venues like the Seaplex, offering the first bumper car and roller skating offerings at sea, and Two70, a three story atrium lounge area that offers nighttime aerial entertainment.
With the Quantum class, Royal Caribbean debuts the next generation of staterooms, including Family Connected staterooms offering flexibility for families and groups of friends, Virtual Balcony interior staterooms, and larger two-story Loft Suites.
